Image intensifiers are used for extremely low-light level applications, such as experienced with only the moon’s luminance. To test these devices, Santa Barbara Infrared offers our standard target projector systems—composed of our off-axis Newtonian style aluminum coated reflective collimators (silver and gold coatings optional), and a multi-position target wheel— that are paired with one of our Infinity VSX Series integrating sphere. These units allow testing down to 0.001 Foot Lamberts.
