IT and Software/Computer Engineering Intern   Top

Responsibilities:
The IT and Software/Computer Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as develop new technologies. The job will consist of planning meetings, creating specifications, and implementing web applications. The candidate will be expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills, and must be able to work in a team environment. Required duties and responsibilities: - Software design using C#, Ruby and/or ASP.Net as required. - Understand technologies currently used: Microsoft SQL/Ruby on Rails/ASP.NET - Ability to set up webinars for online classes and demonstrations - Working with Software and IT, develops a SQL routine with a web interface for importing parts and bills of materials into Visual Manufacturing from SolidWorks replacing the Access Import Routine. - Support Assembly Browser (SQL/Ruby/Linux) - Working with Software and IT, develops a web interface and database to replace a FileMaker ECO database. - Design and implement a new web-based RMA and service solution - Develops and performs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. - Maintain web site to include new announcements, products, datasheets, calculator tools, etc. - Implement search engine optimization strategies - Support Engineering's basic IT needs (fix PCs, etc.) - Implement user Forum for product support - Installs and tests software, hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user's premises. - Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must be currently attending a school of higher education with the goal of obtaining an Associate, Bachelor or Master's degree from four-year college or university. Due to US Export Control Regulations compliance, eligible candidates MUST be a US citizen, permanent resident or a person who has been granted asylum; proper documentation is required. Mechanical Engineer Intern   Top

Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Engineer Intern researches, designs, develops and tests mechanical designs of infrared test equipment. Working under technical direction, the Intern generates mechanical fabrication/assembly drawings, bill of materials, and engineering change orders. The successful candidate executes tasks according to schedule and budget. The Mechanical Engineer Intern will also perform maintenance to SolidWorks vault and use SolidWorks to perform mechanical engineering drafting tasks.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must be currently attending a school of higher education with the goal of obtaining a Bachelor or Master's degree in engineering from a college or university or must possess equivalent work experience. Due to US Export Control Regulations compliance, eligible candidates MUST be a US citizen, permanent resident or a person who has been granted asylum; proper documentation is required. Pre-employment verifications: must pass background, reference and ITAR/EAR checks in addition to a pre-employment drug screen. EOE M/F/Veteran/Disabled
